The Government is implementing energy efficiency policy mechanism of heat consumption. The corresponding decree approving the plan for the legal framework for the implementation of energy efficiency policies and modernization of the heat consumption sphere heating Cabinet of Ministers adopted on 30 July.

The main purpose of the adoption of this document is to provide an adequate level of social security for payment for the consumed energy and utility services. In particular, it envisages the development of appropriate changes in regulations to simplify the order to provide targeted housing subsidies to the population. Also it is planned compensation for energy-saving measures for citizens with low-income.

It also will be promoted and the establishment of individual heating units in homes and schools, institutions and public sector organizations.

In general, the document should provide an integrated approach to the modernization of the heating areas and create a legal framework for the implementation of energy efficiency policy by heat consumption units.
