The Government continues to negotiate with Russia to revise gas contracts concluded in 2009. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov announced this today to the journalists after visiting the Schaslyvskyi educational complex of the Kiev Boryspil District Council area.

"We are in talks - they are complex, difficult, but we have no other choice. Because the agreement, signed by Mrs. Tymoshenko, where in the formula 450 USD are immediately put as the based, is absolutely unprofitable for Ukraine. This formula does not correspond to market realities, we will convince our Russian partners, and I think we'll find a compromise" - the head of the Government underlined.
