The Government considered the draft action plan involving the 25 anniversary of Chernobyl disaster
The Government considered the draft action plan on 25-th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster. On the core activities of the project plan, Head of the State Agency of Ukraine for an exclusion zone management Vladimir Kholosha during a meeting of the Organizing Committee on preparation and carrying out activities related to the 25 anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster.
In particular, the draft document envisages measures to provide social support and medical protection of population affected by the Chernobyl disaster.
As Vladimir Kholosha, at the completion of terms of implementation of national programs to overcome the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster in 2006-2010 is currently developing the concept of state targeted social programs to overcome the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster, which covers the period up to 2016.
Heard of the State Agency of Ukraine for an exclusion zone management noted that the draft plan envisages in April 2011 in Kyiv international scientific conference "Twenty-five years of the Chernobyl disaster. Security of the Future". The main goal of the conference is to use the lessons of Chernobyl for the safety of nuclear power and other dangerous technologies to protect people and the environment of emergency" - he marked.
According to Vladimir Kholosha trouser leg, got consent to participate in the conference from the European Commission, IAEA, UNICEF, Council of Europe, UNDP, Ministries of Emergencies of Russia and Belarus, the Institute for Radiological Protection (France), Institute of Nuclear Safety (Germany).
The State Agency of Ukraine of an exclusion zone also said that provides a number of activities of an informational nature.
