Mykola Azarov: Ukraine is interested in the EBRD loan for reconstruction of the Urengoy - Pomary - Uzhgorod gas pipeline
Ukraine is interested in attracting credit from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development to modernize the Urengoy - Pomary - Uzhgorod Pipeline.
This was stated by Prime Minister Mykola Azarov during a meeting with the EBRD officials which was held in Kyiv.
"We’d like to conclude an agreement on modernization and reconstruction of our pipeline Urengoy - Pomary - Uzhgorod, especially concerning a part that comes out to Poland," said Prime Minister.
He stressed the Government pays a great attention to energy conservation, energy efficiency and alternative energy sources as well.
