Energy saving and transfer to recovered energy sources enable Ukraine to be energy independent
The Government is drafting a clear plan on substituting recovered energy sources for traditional energy sources natural gas, in particular. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated at the Government’s sitting on investments.
“The Government is working systemic, day after day in this direction, and we’ll develop all motive mechanisms to realize it in accelerated procedures,” the Head of Government stressed.
According to Yulia Tymoshenko, today the energy balance has only 0.83% of recovered energy sources of total consumption volume. “We task us with refining a single strategy of the FEC development in such a way, that recovered energy sources amounted from 20 to 25% in the common energy balance,” the Head of Government said.
That’s why, according to the Prime Minister, the Government initiates inventory of possible sources of biogas production, drafts amendments to the laws on introduction of privileges for enterprises which use the alternative energy sources, introduces programs on arranging individual heat points.
Yulia Tymoshenko stressed that Ukraine has enough resources to substitute alternative energy sources for natural gas.
