The Belarus – Ukraine Territorial Cooperation programme is a part of broader EU-funded Eastern Partnership Territorial Cooperation Programme (EaPTC). The total EU contribution to the Belarus - Ukraine Territorial Cooperation Programme amounts to EUR 3,3 mln.

On November 29, 18 cross-border projects from Ukraine and Belarus took part in Grant Contracts Signing and Awarding Ceremony. These projects are almost equally divided among the three priorities of the Belarus – Ukraine Territorial Cooperation Programme: improving the living conditions of local communities; solving environmental problems, employment, health care and other important areas for border regions; support of cultural, educational and sports initiatives in both countries.

More than 150 participants attended the event. Apart from the grant project partners, the signing ceremony was attended by representatives of central and local authorities of the two countries, the European Union Delegation to Ukraine, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, which is the EaPTC Programme Managing Authority, as well as the members of the EaPTC Support Programme.

From November 27 to December 1, 2017, trainings for the grant projects beneficiaries were being held in Kyiv, tailored to help in the better implementation of cross-border initiatives. The trainings were organised jointly by the EaPTC Support Programme and the EaPTC Managing Authority (GIZ).

In the framework of the Conference, FGL Energy was responsible for:

• Venue, accommodation and catering service;
• Negotiating with participants
• Developing a media scenario of the event
• Ensuring event visibility (design and production of roll-ups, press-walls, folders, notebooks, pens, etc.)
• Ensuring the presence of national and regional mass media
• Developing the press announcement, press release and post release
• Producing materials for the press
• Arranging photo and video shooting
• Organizing press-conference for media
• Shooting and production of the video on the results of the event
