The European Union encourages energy efficiency for multi-apartment buildings. On October 19, 2017, FGL Energy LLC held the information tour entitled “Experience of Kyiv City on the way to improving energy efficiency in residential sector”.

The press briefing within the information tour was attended by: Mr Petro Pantelieiev, Deputy Head of Kyiv City State Administration, Mr Jurgis Vilcinskas, Counsellor Head of Press and Information Section, EU Delegation to Ukraine, Ms Sophia Lynn, Team Leader of the IFC Project “Energy efficiency in the residential sector of Ukraine”, Ms Tetiana Boyko, Coordinator of residential programs of the civic network OPORA.

The information tour was attended by more than 50 persons, including representatives of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, energy efficiency experts, heads of HOAs, representatives of national and regional Ukrainian media. The participants of the info-tour also visited modernized sites in order to demonstrate the experience in complex thermal modernization of buildings at the expense of governmental and municipal co-funding programmes, in particular, HOA “Oberih na Poznyakakh” and HOA “Kyivenergo”.

In the framework of the event, FGL Energy was responsible for:

• Negotiating and ensuring the venue for the event;

• Organization of a quiz about interesting facts related to energy efficiency with the participation of energy auditors and journalists;
• Ensuring event visibility: the EU flag and the information campaign «Energy of your home» banner placement
• Delivering and installing the agreed technical equipment
• Coordination with all service providers
• Organization of onsite visits aimed to demonstrate the experience of complex energy efficient refurbishment and thermal modernization of residential buildings
