On September 27, 2017, Zhytomyr hosted an information tour «Experience of Zhytomyr Municipality on the way to improving energy efficiency in residential sector». The event is organized within the framework of the information campaign "Energy of Your Home", which is being implemented in five pilot cities of Ukraine (Kyiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhya, Odesa, Kharkiv) with the support of the European Union.

Information campaign «Energy of your home» is aimed at raising awareness among Ukrainians on the need to increase energy efficiency of multi-family buildings, in particular by implementing thermal modernization and joint energy-efficiency measures using available funding instruments, which leads to the improvement of living conditions, increased level of comfort for citizens and reduced costs on public utilities.

More than 60 persons took part in Info-tour, including representatives of the EU Delegation to Ukraine, Zhytomyr city council, non-governmental organizations and donors' projects, State Agency of Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine, together with energy efficiency experts, heads of successful HOAs implementing the best energy-efficient practices in residential sector, and also with the representatives of national and regional media.

In the framework of the event, FGL Energy was responsible for:

• Negotiating and ensuring the venue of the event;
• Organization of the press-briefing and panel discussion in «Energy talk» format;
• Organization of a quiz about interesting facts related to energy efficiency with the participation of energy auditors and journalists;
• Ensuring event visibility: the EU flag and the information campaign «Energy of your home» banner placement
• Delivering and installing the agreed technical equipment
• Coordination with all service providers
• Organization of onsite visits aimed to demonstrate the experience of complex energy efficient refurbishment and thermal modernization of residential buildings
