On June 16, 2017, a press conference within the framework of Closing Conference of the Armenia – Georgia Territorial Cooperation Programme was held in Gyumri (Armenia). The Closing Conference “Impact on Regional Sustainable Development and Cross-Border Cooperation”, where the results of the cross-border projects were presented, brought together representatives of national, regional and local authorities, civil society organisations and opinion leaders, international donors and partners, business and media circles of Armenia and Georgia, as well as cross-border projects’ teams from the participating regions.

As a result of successful Armenian-Georgian cooperation within the framework of the EaPTC Programme, significant improvement of the level of interaction has been achieved by involving local communities of the participating regions in intercultural dialogue, overcoming stereotypes and building trust among the population of neighbouring territories, establishing reliable business relations and striving for sustainable regional development.

In the framework of the media event, FGL Energy was responsible for:

• Providing venue, accommodation and catering service for participants and media representatives
• Developing a media scenario of the event
• Ensuring the EU and EaPTC visibility and promotion of the event (design and production of roll-ups, press-walls, folders, notebooks, pens, etc.)
• Providing simultaneous interpretation;
• Ensuring the presence of national and regional mass media of Armenia and Georgia
• Developing the press announcement, press release and post release
• Developing and producing materials for the press
• Arranging photo and video shooting
• Organizing a press-conference for media
• Ensuring coordination of media activities with the EU Delegation to Armenia
