The most important issue in the autumn-winter period is to provide kindergartens, schools, hospitals andresidential sector with heat, stressed Vice Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development, Construction,Housing and Utilities Volodymyr Groysman speaking on the air of Channel 5.

He has informed that some local self-governments work out technical charts to set the lower limit of comfort, and it can be a necessary step so as to ensure meeting the needs of the entire heating season. However, according to the official, much will also depend on the outside temperature in autumn and winter.

Volodymyr Groysman has also explained that the reverse gas from Europe shall help reduce lack of natural gas during the period of cold weather. To replace natural gas in Ukraine, it will be used 1 million tons of fuel oil.

He also stressed the importance of energy saving so as to meet the needs of this winter. VolodymyrGroysman noted that energy consumption must be reduced by every citizen.

"It is a challenge to everyone, a challenge to our national security and independence. I am convinced thatwe will survive this winter and will do our utmost to ensure that everything is going be Ok in Ukraine", VolodymyrGroysman noted.
