Ukraine turns to Biodiesel
The first biodiesel factory has started to work in the Ternopol oblast. But there is lack of corresponding regulations for fuel sale in Ukraine. Factory has been opened in Vasilkovka village Gusyatinskiy district. According to the chairman of rural farming scientific production farm Koval Oleg Koval, equipment for factory cost UAH 400,000. The Polish enterprise Eznakh supplied mini-factory with it.
In general, according to him, Koval farm can produce 20,000 tons of fuel per a day although still enterprise has a lack of rape oil for producing biodiesel. Besides, Koval informed glycerin and cake have been producing as a biological fertilizer.
According to her, still fuel has been used for their own needs. Producers will be able to sell it after corresponding standards are worked out in Ukraine.
As chairman of the Ternopol oblast state administration Ivan Stoyko informed during a ceremonial opening of mini-factory, opening stronger biodiesel factory is planned to be in Mishkovich the Ternopol district. According to him, squares of rape crops is planned to be increased greatly.
