Ukraine and Russia have a common understanding on sustainable transit of Russian gas to Europe, Yuriy Boyko
On 12 July, Ukrainian and Russian delegations discussed issue of transit of Russian gas to Europe.
Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Boyko said this in an interview with Channel 5.
"Indeed, there was a meeting at the level of Naftogaz and Gazprom. It is important that despite the tensions in the area, both relatively procurement contract, and guarantees regarding transit, there is a common understanding that we need to find a model that would allow ensuring sustainable transit and preventing any disruptions to supply gas to Europe in winter. Therefore, we’ve worked out in my mind, a real viable option, how we go through the winter without any problems," Yuriy Boyko said.
