The EU has allocated Ukraine € 28 million to support the implementation of a national Energy Strategy
The EU decided to allocate Ukraine tranche in the amount of 28.140 million Euros within the framework of the program "Support to the Implementation of the Energy Strategy of Ukraine".
Decision based on an assessment of the European Commission the status of implementation of indicators for payments under the program and the progress of the Ukrainian side in the area of public financial management.
By the end of 2012, the funds must be submitted on the Ministry of Finance’s the National Bank account. Chief Manager of budget and executing appropriate budget program is the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry.
The order of use of funds approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated on 13.07.2011 № 739 "On approval of the use of funds of the State budget to support the implementation of the Energy Strategy of Ukraine till 2030".
