Swimming pool in Lviv school will be heated by solar pannels
“New equipment utilize diffused and direct infrared rays, so the process of heating does not depend on temperature and cloudiness. Even in worst weather conditions it is possible to heat water to 27 degrees. In fact, we use free solar energy. And that is not only fine words, it’s a fact!” – stressed Zenoviy Kogut.
According to Manager of educational complex “Arnika” Halyna Vytiv, after installation of solar panels school, is provided by hot water supply, and now children will use swimming pool as well. “Swimming pool hadn’t been working for 15 years. We are proud that city choosed our school for installing such solar panels” – said Halyna Vytiv.
City mayor Andrij Sadovyj, who examined solar panels and educational complex noted that for swimming pool refinement was drawn 720 thousands hrn. from budgetary funds. Additionally, solar panels installation cost 500 thousands hrn. According to engineers, the expenses for this panels will cover for 5 years. “It is a very fine indicator, it is our answer on Russian gas question. This tear we are planning to install similar equipment at one of Lviv schools. But we have to wait for state budget adoption. I have to note that Lviv is actively passing to innovative systems of energy efficiency”, said Lviv mayor.
According to specialists, such innovative system of water heating makes it possible to save 60-70% of energy recourses.
