According to the Agreement for the Sale and Purchase of Assigned Amount Units (AAU) with the Spanish party, during a sitting of joint Observatory Committee in Madrid, Spain, there were selected project propositions the realization of which has to be commenced in the current year. This was informed at the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine by Minister of Environment and Natural Resources Oleh Proskuryakov in the course of the press conference. In his words, Eur 30 mln has already been transferred for realization of joint projects.
“Expert decisions are to be made with regards to: the project for production and supply of heat and power energy at the account of accumulation of biogas by means of processing of livestock organic wastes; project for modernization of thermal power stations in Sevastopol; project for construction of wind turbines targeting creation of autonomous wind farm for energy supply of Dnipropetrovsk machine building plant; project for collecting methane and production of electricity in any of the following towns: Lysychansk, Dniprodzerzhynsk, Energodar, Melitopol, Berdyansk,” Oleh Proskuryakov told.
