Mykola Azarov: The solidarity of different countries is rather important than the amount of funds collected in the Chernobyl Fund.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov is convinced in issue of elimination of consequences of technological disasters, improvement of nuclear safety is above all important solidarity of all countries, their joint action. He said this during a meeting with Prime Minister of Belgium Yves Leterme.
"The disaster occurred in Ukraine, but its effects felt throughout the world. Japan is too far away from us, but it is also a global disaster. All this suggests that our world is vulnerable, he is small, and how important is the solidarity of all countries, when such accidents happen", - Mykola Azarov emphasized.
Ukrainian Premier thanked the participants of the international summit on the safe use of nuclear energy devoted to 25 -th anniversary of the Chernobyl accident. "I was deeply touched when today held a meeting with representatives of the countries which have agreed to provide assistance to Ukraine. The solidarity of different countries is even rather important than the amount of funds collected in the Fund” – said Mykola Azarov.
