Technical and Market Assessment of Oil Refineries in Ukraine – 2011
The objective of this project was to provide consulting services for oil refineries modernisation, assess market conditions, technologies and equipment, review energy efficiency components and develop an investment programme.To achieve the objective, the following activities were carried out:
- Reviewing market conditions, current situation, governmental policies and development forecasts;
- Assessing ORs conditions, gathering info and data to carry out plant condition monitoring;
- Assessing capabilities of local technology and equipment suppliers to continue the modernisation of the refining sector as well quantifying potentials for energy saving and CO2 reduction;
- Evaluating potentials for
modernisation and efficiency increase in assessed plants; - Developing a more comprehensive Modernisation Investment Programme, structuring possible
modernisation and upgrading activities into major categories and by investment magnitude order;
