Gas Distribution Network Research – 2007
The objective of the project was to provide the Industrial Review and Diagnostic, technical data, evaluate and provide relevant recommendations on Technical and Environmental Due Diligence of selected local Gas Distribution Companies.
The research included the following technical aspects:
- Capacities examination (pipeline system, compressor stations, accumulated natural gas stations, measuring systems, dispatcher systems and quality controlling systems);
- Annual and monthly report analysis, budget, plans and other company’s documentation;
- Technical and commercial expenses analysis, as well as OPEX and CAPEX analysis;
- Analysis and implementation of Investment program approved by NERC.
And the following ecological aspects:
- Research of potential ecological sensible places connected with place of gas object’s location;
- Measures for environmental protection;
- Drawing up plans for ecological emergency situations, working up the
hazwaste ; - Safety of life activity research, for instance, presence of safety control, general security system, fire safety.
